Beat Your Blues.

The impression we get of Gen Zers on TikTok is that they’re always having fun, doing choreographies, challenges, and all kinds of entertaining things. But the reality is quite different. A large percentage of them are struggling with issues that affect their mental health, such as social oppression, psychological problems, hate, emotional struggles, and bullying. 

This is why McCann Worldgroup Athens, on behalf of Amita Motion, listened to the pulse of society and created a campaign designed to bring positive energy back to young people through the power of music. 

Because 67% of Gen Z listens to music to feel better, Amita Motion gathered their favorite artists — Eleni Foureira, ZAF, FOXY LEE, SENO, Arcade, DJ Display, Solid — and created the beat that will Beat Gen Z’s Blues. A campaign where real Gen Z storytimes, about breakups, stress, bullying became original songs. 

But this campaign didn’t stop at music. It grew on TikTok and Instagram, as influencers and creators shared how music helped them overcome their own dark moments, making “Beat Your Blues” a real movement. 

Because Amita Motion believes that even when life gets heavy, the right beat can bring the positive energy back.
